LBPD Public Information Officer Nancy Pratt says that at about 12:15 a.m. today (Jan. 1), a male subject [age unknown for now] was in the front of a residence in the 1200 block of W. Burnett St. (roughly two blocks south of Willow St., west of 710 freeway) when he was approached by two suspects and shot in the torso. The victim was transported to a hospital with About five weeks earlier on Nov. 26, a residence was struck by gunfire in the 1400 block of W. 19th St. (Green X, map right)
