VIDEO: Occupy Long Beach Supporters Demonstrate Outside ELB Bank of America: "Banks Got Bailed Out, We Got Sold Out"

(Jan. 20, 2012) -- Roughly sixty OccupyLongBeach supporters attended a vocal, peaceful demonstration outside the East Long Beach/Los Altos area Bank of America branch (2240 Bellflower Blvd.) from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday Jan. 19.

Among their chants: "Banks got bailed out, we got sold out." Supporter Sharon Cotrell distributed information leaflets, stating in part: "President Obama has a cjhoice to make: Let the banks off the hook or order a full federal investigation into bank practices during the housing crisis. President Obama has referenced FDR's famous quote before: 'You've convinced me. Now go out and make me do it.'"

Numerous drivers honked their horns in support. We saw one driver flip the demonstrators off (unfriendly middle finger salute).
