Two Men (Adults) Shot At Midafternoon (Jan. 22), Area 23rd St./Lime Ave.

(Jan. 22, 2014) -- Following-up on a double-shooting reported first as breaking on LBREPORT.com, LBPD says two men (adults) were the victims of this afternoon's (Jan. 22) shooting in the area of 23rd St./Lime Ave.
 Red Xs=2014 murders; Blue Xs=2014 shootings  Context: Murders (red Xs 2011-2013, brown 2010) and shootings (blue X's Aug. 2, 2011-Dec. 2013) Information is remains sketchy as LBPD's investigation continues: LBPD Public Information Officer Nancy Pratt says that at about 3:50 p.m., officers responded to a shots-fired call near 23rd St./Lime Ave. (one block east of Atlantic Ave.).and found two men with gunshot wounds; they were transported to hospitals with injuries that appear to be LBPD says there's no suspect information for now...and the shooting is being investigated as possibly gang related.
