(Jan. 5, 2015) -- At a press briefing this afternoon (Mon. Jan. 5), LBPD Chief Robert Luna STRONGLY sought the public's assistance, calling it critical in finding the person who kidnapped and murdered three week old Eliza Delacruz after shooting her mother, father and uncle at a NLB residence on Saturday. "We need to get the coward who commited this violent and senseless act off the street but we absolutely need the public's help to do this," Chief Luna said. [Scroll down for further.] |
"We are proactively working this case but we need help from anyone who may have knowledge to what led to the shooting, the kidnapping and this awful murder. We will be working with the sketch artist as our investigation continues. Somebody somewhere saw what happened and we need you to come forward," Chief Luna said. The Chief said that on Tuesday, the L.A. County Bd of Supervisors is expected to offer a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Eliza Delacruz. Chief Luna emphasized that LBPD seeks information about both the abduction and murder of the child, as well as the three shootings.
