LBFD Photo by PIO/Firefighter Jake Heflin That prompted a call to L.A. County's Bomb Squad and an evacuation of an area within a radius of about one block. LBPD closed off Orange Ave. between 70th St. in LB to Jackson St. in Paramount.
The Bomb Squad concluded the WWII era military shells were inert and rendered them safe.
