Terrible Midmorning Crash, With Fatality, Studebaker Rd. Off Ramp From Southbound 405

(Jan. 20, 2015, updated 3:15 p.m.) CHP Sgt. Scott Hawkins updates LBREPORT.com with additional on this morning's terrible accident (southbound 405 Studebaker Rd. offramp.) It was a single vehicle accident; CHP currently unsure if it was a health issue or a speed or some other issue. The decedent is estimated to be roughly 70+ years old. A woman was a passenger; she survived. Locked wheel skids are visible; the vehicle overturned, landing on its wheels; the man driving was wearing his seat belt.

(Jan. 20, 2015, 12:55 p.m.) -- LBREPORT.com has learned of a terrible accident -- including a fatality -- in the area of the southbound 405 freeway Studebaker Rd. offramp.

In very sketchy initial information, CHP officer Monica Posada tells LBREPORT.com that the accident was reported at roughly 10:16 a.m. There is a male fatality (we don't have an age.) The Studebaker Rd. offramp from the southbound 405 is closed at midday.
