Man Stabbed To Death, 3700 block Cherry Ave.

(July 20, 2003) -- A 35-year old LB man has been stabbed to death in the 3700 block of Cherry Ave.

LBPD says it responded on July 20 at roughly 6:19 p.m. and learned the suspect went to a residence at the location and asked to speak the victim. The suspect and victim spoke for a few minutes inside, then walked outside together...after which a witness at the residence looked outside several minutes later and saw the victim lying on the ground and bleeding...but did not see the suspect.

Police describe the suspect as a male Hispanic in his 20's with a muscular build, about six feet tall and wearing a black beanie and black shirt.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact LBPD Homicide Detectives Richard Birdsall or Scott Lasch at (562) 570-7244.
