(July 12, 2003) -- Following up on a story first reported by LBReport.com, the LB Board of Harbor Commissioners will agendize and take a public vote on naming newly sworn Harbor Commissioner and former Alameda Corridor CEO James C. Hankla to serve as the Port of LB's representative to the Alameda Corridor's Governing Board.
Dep. City Attorney Charles Gale told LBReport.com that naming Mr. Hankla as the POLB's rep on ACTA's Governing Board requires agendizing and a public vote, which was not done due to an inadvertent mistake.
This will be rectified at the July 21 meeting of the Board of Harbor Commissioners when the item will be publicly agendized and voted.
