(July 30, 2003, posted as breaking news 8:30 p.m.) -- An LBPD motorcycle office was injured and taken to a local hospital -- his condition unknown as we post -- after colliding with a car at PCH and Lime Ave. late this afternoon. Details are sketchy as we post. We spotted LBPD helicopters, and TV news helicopters, above the area at about 5:45 p.m. LBReport.com readers in the area have told us PCH and Atlantic was affected as late as 8 p.m. It's the wrap up of the accident investigation.
