61 Yr-Old Woman Sexually Assaulted In Her Home, 3400 Block Magnolia Ave.

(July 19, 2003) -- LBPD says a 61 year old woman has been sexually assaulted in her home in the 3400 block of Magnolia Ave.

Police responded on July 19 at approximately 5:49 p.m. after the victim arrived home following a walk, entered her house...and the suspect grabbed her from behind.

LBPD identifies the suspect as a dark skinned male Black in his 30's with a gap in his upper teeth. He was wearing a green plaid shirt, tan pants and had a strong smell of body odor.

Police say the suspect sexually assaulted the victim, took several items from her home...and left on foot in an unknown direction.

LBPD set up a perimeter and searched the area with a bloodhound...but were unsuccessful in finding the suspect.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact LBPD Sex Crimes Detectives Craig Newland at (562) 570-7368.
