(July 21, 2008) -- Congresswoman Laura Richardson (D, Carson-LB) is part of a large delegation of members of the House of Representatives (all Dems), including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D, SF), currently in New Orleans to view conditions nearly three years after Hurricane Katrina.

The Congressional visit has received considerable coverage in the New Orleans media, including references to statements by Congresswoman Richardson.
