Woman Visiting NLB Apt. Is Fatally Stabbed In Sunday Afternoon Dispute

(July 1, 2012) -- A woman (adult) visiting a NLB apartment complex was stabbed to death on Sunday afternoon.
In a release, LBPD says that on July 1 at roughly 1:10 p.m., it responded to a residence in the 30 block of E. Plymouth Street where the victim, Tekeisha Neeley, 39, of LB was a visitor. "Detectives learned that a dispute had occurred between unknown parties prior to the stabbing," the release says. "Sometime during the dispute, the victim was stabbed in the upper torso. She was transported to a local hospital and was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival as a result of injuries sustained from the stabbing." Investigators are hopeful that someone will come forward and the investigation remains ongoing."
