(July 17, 2013, updated location July 18) -- A man (adult) was shot and suffered injuries described as critical in the early evening tonight (Weds. July 17) when he was a passenger in a vehicle in the [LBPD updated location] 6400 block of Atlantic Ave. (just south of Jordan High).
 Blue X's = shootings we learn about (not complete list) from August 2011 to date Red X's = murders since Jan. 1, 2011 LBPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Dave Marander tells LBREPORT.com that at about 7:20 p.m., the victim was a passenger in a vehicle when its occupants heard gunfire. The victim was struck in the upper torso and driven to a hospital in the vehicle in which he was shot. LBPD's investigation is ongoing.
