(July 21, 2013) -- A woman allegedly armed with a hatchet -- who police say was standing over her husband and threatening to kill him -- prompted a The woman wasn't struck by the gunfire, surrendered to officers and was arrested; the man wasn't injured. In a release, LBPD says: On Saturday, July 20, 2013, at approximately 11:05 p.m., the Long Beach Police Department responded to the 1100 block of Walnut Avenue regarding a female armed with a hatchet and threatening to kill her husband, which resulted in an officer involved shooting with no injuries.
