As previously reported by LBREPORT.com, on May 24, a 34 year-old man was shot and killed in the area of Lime Ave./19th St. (east of Atlantic Ave.) On April 8 in the predawn hours, a man (adult) was stabbed to death in the 2000 block of Locust Ave. (about a block south and east of the July 18 fatal shooting. They found a male victim [no age in initial info] who was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased after arrival. LBPD is investigating the shooting as possibly gang-related, PIO Pratt says.
