U.S. Bank Branch in Downtown LB (555 E. Ocean) Is Robbed; See FBI Suspect Pix


(July 23, 2014) -- The U.S. Bank branch in downtown Long Beach (555 E. Ocean Blvd.) was robbed today (July 23.)

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller tells LBREPORT.com that the suspect is described as a male Black, roughly 6'2" with a slender build, wearing a dark blue workout type suit with white stripes and a black beanie-style hat with his sunglasses set on top.

The suspect allegedly passed a note demanding cash and threatened the teller if she didn't comply with his demands for cash. The suspect allegedly also made an oral demand for additional cash.

No weapons were seen during the robbery BUT the FBI says "the suspect should be considered possibly armed and dangerous."

FBI spokesperson Eimiller says the agency hasn't linked this suspect to any other bank robberies BUT that remains under investigation.
