(July 14, 2016) -- A lakeside memorial service is scheduled for Richard "Dick" Karnette, husband of retired LB-area state Senator/Assemblywoman (and longtime LB-Wrigley neighborhood resident) Betty Karnette, on Friday July 15 at 12 noon at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes (directions at this link..

Mr. Karnette passed away on June 26 at the age of 90.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Dick's honor to the Long Beach Public Library Foundation (lbplfoundation.org) or the National Park Conservation Association (npca.org).
