LBPD PIO Chavarria told LBREPORT.com on July 28 that officers were dispatched at about 12:45 p.m. to the 300 block of Bellflower Blvd. (3rd dist., north of Elliot St., south of Colorado St.) for a stolen vehicle call. When officers arrived and began to approach the vehicle on foot, the suspect allegedly reversed the vehicle toward the officer and his police car, struck the police car and fled the area.

A police ensued, flew through the 4th district and into the 5th, ending on eastbound Wardlow Rd. just west of Woodruff.
