(June 11, 2002) -- Shortly after midnight today, LBPD says it responded to disturbance call in the 300 block of Molina Ave in the 2d Council district and found a man dead inside an apartment.

Officers say neighbors reported fighting sounds inside the residence, and police arived and found the victim, an African-American male, had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.

Police describe the suspect as an African-American adult who fled the area in the victim's vehicle. The vehicle was later found in the area and towed.
