Previously, LB banned car "for sale" signs in more areas
(June 12, 2002) -- The City Council passed it, and it's LBPD's job to enforce it: a revised LB city law banning "for sale" signs on cars parked on certain city streets. LBReport.com lists the streets below.
The City Council enacted a revised Municipal Code section 10.22.080 on April 30 with a 9-0 vote. Ignore the law and you could get a $25.00 ticket. (You really don't want to hand that money to City Hall, do you?)
LB formerly banned "for sale" signs on cars on roughly 100 streets, but the Council has reduced the "forbidden" areas, apparently seeking to focus on areas where there had been complaints.
