Employees at NLB Sizzler, Del Amo @ LB Blvd. Show Up For Morning Work, Find Intruder Inside; Fight Ensues; One Employee Stabbed; SWAT Called
(June 26, 2002, posted 11:25 a.m.) -- Employees of the NLB Sizzler (15 W. Del Amo, near LB Blvd.) arrived for work this morning and found an intruder inside. Details are sketchy but LBPD believes an altercation ensued and an employee was stabbed. The employee has been taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
A SWAT team is on scene as we post.
