Cong. Millender-McDonald Moves Bill To Rename Post Office @ 2300 Redondo Ave. As Stephen Horn Post Office Bldg.
(June 25, 2003) -- Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald (D., LB-Carson) has introduced legislation to rename the U.S. Post Office at 2300 Redondo Ave. in Signal Hill as the "J. Stephen Horn Post Office Building."
H.R. 2309 was introduced by Congresswoman Millender-McDonald on June 3, and as of June 24 has co-sponsors including Congressmembers Tauscher, Honda, Napolitano, Becerra, Sherman, Watson, Harman, Lantos, Berman, Simmons, Schiff, Filner and Biggert.

A BILL
To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 2300 Redondo Avenue in Signal Hill, California, as the `J. Stephen Horn Post Office Building'.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. DESIGNATION.
The facility of the United States Postal Service located at 2300 Redondo Avenue in Signal Hill, California, shall be known and designated as the `J. Stephen Horn Post Office Building'.
SEC. 2. REFERENCES.
Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the facility referred to in section 1 shall be deemed to be a reference to the `J. Stephen Horn Post Office Building'.
