"CPR Sunday" Gives Public Chance To Learn Lifesaving CPR June 6 @ LBCC ELB Campus
(June 3, 2004) -- "CPR Sunday" -- which offers the public an opportunity to learn lifesaving cardiopulmonary resuscitation -- will be held this Sunday, June 6 at LBCC's ELB campus (Clark Ave.@ Carson St.)
Www.cprsunday.org says, "Learn Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death in adults. Permanent brain damage can occur in as little as three minutes. This simple life saving technique can make a difference."
Although pre-registration is closed, the website says registration will be available in person on Sunday. As of June 3, www.cprsunday.org said:

The earliest remaining classes start at 10am but are filling up fast. The last class begins at 1pm. Arrive at least one half hour early. Classes are $10 each!
Www.cprsunday.org says classes may last up to three hours and are held outdoors. "Dress Casual, wear comfortable shoes, bring a hat and sunblock," says the website.
