(June 20, 2009) -- KLOS radio's Mark & Brian morning show hosts spent much of Saturday June 20 at LB's Pitchford Companion Animal Village, teaming with SPCA/LA for a Pet Adoption Day.
From air-pair drew a steady crowd to LB's P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Villlage (7700 E. Spring St.), promoting the 10 a.m.-4 p.m. event on-air with live cut-ins from a remote studio. "If you want a dog's nose in your crotch, this is the place," one of them said.
Young people and families came by to meet puppies, kittens, dogs, cats and rabbits looking for forever homes.
Families took test drives with four-legged friends.
Adoption came with vaccinations, spay/neuter, a free vet exam, microchip and a SWAG BAG full of gifts for the new pet.
