(June 25, 2010) -- Friends of a crically injured ELB man will hold a Saturday garage sale (June 26) to help his family.
LBReport.com reader Shelley Brice-Boyle says her husband Hugh Boyle was hit on his motorcycle on Monday, June 21 at 2:50 p.m. on the corner of Palo Verde & Stearns by a car traveling northbound up Palo Verde Ave.
Ms. Brice-Boyle says husband Hugh was critically injured. His helmet and full-face shield protected him from head and brain trauma, but he sustained very serious injuries, has undergone surgeries and faces more...and her friends are gathering together to hold a benefit garage sale to help with obvious exepenses.
The garage sale to help Hugh and Shelley Boyle will take place Saturday, June 26, starting at 8 a.m.
The location is 5112 E. Killdee St., a few houses east of Clark Ave., three blocks south of Wardlow Rd., just east of Skylinks Golf course.
LBReport.com learned of this grassroots effort late last night and has volunteered to help. We will be webcasting LIVE from the scene, telethon style. The webcast is being produced by LBReport.com with the assistance of LBOCEAN Internet/Surveillance Svcs.
