Long Beach Organic Draws Crowd For 2nd Annual Summer Solstice Celebration @ Wild Oats Community Garden
(June 19, 2010) -- An enthusiastic crowd from kidlets to seniors attended Long Beach Organic's 2nd Annual Summer Solstice Celebration at the Wild Oats Community Garden (former Pacific Electric/"Red Car" diagonal right of way north of 10th St. between Loma and Grand Aves.) on Saturday June 19.
Long Beach Organic is a home-grown 501(c)(3) non-profit and operates six community gardens in Long Beach (including two recently featured on LBReport.com. LBReport.com attended and captured these sights
The event was a fundraiser for LB Organic, free to attend with wearable and eatible goods sold to benefit the locally-created, locally-run non-profit group.
