 (June 16, 2012) -- A man (adult) was shot on Friday afternoon shortly after 5:00 p.m. in the area of 19th St./Myrtle Ave. (across PCH from Poly High, three blocks west of King Park).
LBPD Public Information Officer Lisa Massacani says that at about 5:15 p.m., the victim was struck in the torso and transported with what appeared to be a Map above doesn't include all shootings citywide and may not include all shootings within the area shown (only those we learn about). Blue X=shootings with victim hit. Purple X=shooting with person not hit. Green X=shooting at a residence/building. Yellow X=shooting at vehicle (no hit). Red Xs=2011-12 murders to date. Brown Xs=2010 murders
