(June 25, 2012) -- A man was killed in the midnight hour today (Monday June 25) on the 710 freeway near downtown LB when the car in which he was riding hit a freeway curb, then veered across traffic lanes and crashed into freeway sign and palm tree.
In a release, LBPD says: The preliminary investigation revealed that a gray 1996 Acura Integra was traveling southbound on the 710 Freeway, in the number one traffic lane. The vehicle struck the east curb below the 6th Street overpass and veered across traffic lanes to the west side of the freeway. The passenger side of the vehicle struck a freeway sign and a palm tree located on the west side of the freeway before coming to a stop.
