| (June 14, 2013) -- Tracy Kittinger says that from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, her 49rs Tavern (5660 E. Pacific Coast Highway) will be collecting donations to benefit Long Beach Animal Care Services.
Ms. Kissinger says there'll be "fun, games, a raffle prizes and free pool...with specials on food and drink." [Their burgers are awesome and they have everything you'd expect at a great tavern, surrounded by local history you can't find elsewhere.] "You can drop off other donations such as blankets, animal toys and cages at the 49rs Tavern," Ms. Kittinger says. The 49rs Tavern is a local icon at 5660 E. PCH (on PCH at Bellflower Blvd. just south of 7th St.) Have a good time and help LB Animal Care Services with your donations, Saturday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
