Long Beach Relay for Life Benefiting American Cancer Society Raises $70,000+, Exceeds Last Year's Total By Approx. 10%



(June 3, 2013, 11:30 a.m.) -- Thanks to multiple supportive donors and sponsors, 41 teams and 523 participants in this past weekend's Long Beach's 24-hour Relay for Life exceeded last year's total and raised $70,866.55 for the American Cancer Society.

Last year's total was roughly $62,000.

As of May 30, the Long Beach total was just under $54,000. LBREPORT.com continued to preview the event on our front page and in email blasts, and also webcast salient Relay for Life events LIVE (with on-demand video thereafter.)
