Two Car Crash, Wardlow @ Orange, Sends One Vehicle Into Corner Restaurant

(June 2, 2013, initial report 9:55 p.m.) -- Two cars collided at Wardlow Rd./Orange Ave. on Sunday afternoon (June 2)..and one of the vehicles ended up in the Hole Mole restaurant...which was open and serving customers.

Initial information is sketchy. LBFD Public Information Officer Matt Dobberpuhl says LBFD responded at about 3:45 p.m. and three people were transported to hospitals. [We've seen conflicting information elsewhere.]

Information wasn't immediately available on whether the transorted patients were in a vehicle or in the restaurant. PIO Dobberpuhl says they were transported via ALS (advanced life support paramedic) but there was no immediate information on their condition.
