(June 10, 2015, 10:56 p.m.) -- As flashed on LBREPORT.com's front page at early evening today, an LB Transit bus and a white pickup truck collided at the intersection of Woodruff Ave./Centralia St. (Lakewood/ELB border), sending several people to hospitals and requiring extrication of the bus driver.

LA County Fire Senior Fire Distcher Miguel Ornelas tells LBREPORT.com that a total of six patients were involved; five were transported to hospitals; one declined transport. The bus driver required extrication. It was a lengthy process, and the crowd cheered as firefighters freed him from the wreckage.
