(June 5, 2015) -- LBREPORT.com provides video below of a June 4th event at which roughly fifty sign-carrying individuals assembled at Lincoln Park, marched to LBPD HQ (where the crowd grew to about 70), chanted slogans and heard speeches denouncing the May 27 LBPD fatal shooting of CSULB-bound Feras Morad, 20.

Ages of the participants spanned from college age to seniors. Chants included "No killer police, no justice, no peace" and "hey hey, ho ho, these killer cops have got to go."

As seen in our VIDEO, among those present was Ghada Morad, Mr. Morad's sister. She spoke calmly with LBREPORT.com during the Lincoln Park rally and voiced her anger at LBPD outside its HQ. [LBREPORT.com thanks LBPost.com reporter Stephanie Rivera for letting us independently double-team with her in obtaining remarks from Ms. Morad at Lincoln Park.]

As previously reported by LBREPORT.com, on May 27, not long after ingesting a hallucinogenic mushroom(s) at a friend's ELB apartment, Mr. Morad leaped out of a 2nd story window; LBFD fielded a call seeking assistance (audio of initial call released by LBPD) and LBFD in turn requested LBPD's assistance. A responding LBPD officer encountered Mr. Morad, bloodied and non-compliant in an alley (4600 block E. 15th St.); LBPD says the officer first tried a taser (twice, one missed) and used physically forceful means without success prior to firing his service weapon.
