(March 16, 2002) -- A shooting in the 6800 block of Atlantic Avenue left a 27 year old Compton man seriously injured on Friday night, March 15.

LBPD says the victim was sitting in a parked vehicle in a liquor store parking lot at about 11:15 p.m. and was shot multiple times.

Police say it's unknown if this was a drive-by shooting or if the shooter approached the victim on foot.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was reported in critical condition this afternoon.
