    Woman Stabbed To Death, Dumped in Alley, 2400 Block San Francisco Ave.


    (March 31, 2003) -- LBPD reports that the body of a woman believed stabbed to death elsewhere was dumped in an alley in the 2400 block of San Francisco Ave. (near east bank of L.A. river close to Burnett St.) A bicyclist riding through the alley discovered the corpse on Sunday afternoon, March 30.

    Police say the woman sustained multiple stab wounds and the motive for the crime is unknown.

    LBPD has identified the victim as 34-year old LB resident, Myra Orozco.

    Anyone with information about the crime is urged to call LBPD Homicide Detectives Richard Birdsall or Scott Lasch at (562) 570-7244.
