A release from the CA Faculty Ass'n says 94% of the union's 8,129 voting members (81% turnout) from 23 CSU campuses voted to authorize a strike.
The CFA vote comes just days after CSU Trustees voted to impose a 10% increase on university student fees systemwide.
The vote authorizes CFA’s Board of Directors to set the dates and locations of the strike. CFA’s leadership has previously indicated job actions will begin with "rolling strikes" in which campuses will strike at different times for two days each and "the actions are likely to occur in April."
