(March 14, 2007) -- LBReport.com posts below links to VIDEO of the suspect LBPD alleges sexually assaulted an 11 year-old girl in the area of Loma Ave./8th St. on February 28 at about 5:45 p.m..
The chilling video clips (two views, apparently from a nearby private security camera) show the suspect walking with the victim (who's pixeled/fuzzed out). The clips are linked via LBPD's website in two versions (broadband/high speed connection and dial-up).

[Caveat: The second video clip shows the suspect in the top left of the screen; he walks into the frame.].
LBPD says the 11 yr-old girl reported being approached by the suspect at knife point and ordered to a nearby alley where she was allegedly sexually assaulted numerous times, then threatened with bodily harm if she reported the incident.
LBPD says the suspect in the composite sketch above is a male white, 30-35 years old, 5’7" tall, 140 lbs. He's considered armed and dangerous, so if you see him, call 9-1-1 immediately.
If you recognize the suspect or have other information related to the suspect or what took place, call a specially-established LBPD telephone tip line at (562) 570-7878.
This is the second time that LBPD Detectives have located private security imagery to help find suspects in a major case. As previously reported by LBReport.com, LBPD obtained and publicly released private security video of two suspects (riding bicycles) in the Wrigley-area neighborhood where off-duty LASD Deputy Maria Rosa was shot and killed in March 2006. LBPD identified them...and they were arrested in September, 2006.
