(Mar. 18, 2014, 12:15 p.m.) -- Mayor Bob Foster has appointed (nominated, subject to Council majority approval) to the LB Water Commission Straight Talk TV host/executive producer Art Levine (to fill vacancy left by Susan Dallman) and retired City Attorney Bob Shannon (to replace Paul Blanco).

Also appointed/nominated by Mayor Foster:

Raul Añorve, to the Citizen Police Complaint Police Commission (to serve an interim term left by Susan Glogovac as the 2nd District Representative) and David Clement (to fill the vacancy left by Rick McGilton-McGlamery as the 3rd District Representative)

Robin Perry to the Civil Service CDommission (to fill vacancy left by Jeanne Karatsu)

LBREPORT.com is told that the Mayor's agendizing correspondence was received in the City Clerk's office (time stamped in) on Friday, Mar. 14 at 3:54 p.m.

The item is scheduled to come to the Council's Personnel and Civil Service Committee (chair, Schipske; vice chair Andrews, member Lowenthal) today (Mar. 18) at 4:30 p.m. before reaching the full Council on another Tuesday.
