(Mar. 2, 2015) -- Hail fell in parts of Long Beach at midmorning Monday...and even MORE hail fell in downtown Huntington Beach (turning sidewalks and the sand an icy-white.)

A Los Altos area reader said some streets were turned white. Photos below are from the area a bit south of the Traffic Circle:
