(March 12, 2015) -- LBPD confirms that vandals struck three veicles along the 3800 block of Fountain St. (area Anaheim/Redondo) at roughly 1 a.m. yesterday (Weds. March 11)...but is stopping short (as of early afternoon today Mar. 12) of calling two individuals seen in a still photo uploaded onto the Facebook of a woman who says she is a victim. The woman alleges on Facebook that at at about 12:50 a.m., the pair smashed her car's windshield and damaged at least two other cars . LBPD PIO Arrona confirms that officers on routine patrol were flagged down about 1 a.m. in the area of Grand Ave./Fountain St., learned that three vehicles parked in the 3800 block of Fountain were vandalized...but says no one was able to provide a description of the suspect(s) at the time of the incident. PIO Arrona says the video has since been brought to LBPD's attention and has been passed along to detectives (although not released via LBPD.) We asked PIO Arrona about LBPD's views on victims or others uploading video showing alleged suspects, PIO Arrona tells LBREPORT.com We encourage community members to call 9-1-1 or LBPD Dispatch, 562-435-6711, whenever they see suspicious activity or witness a possible crime. If anyone has video or photos, we encourage them to make it available to investigators in a timely manner, so the evidence may be properly collected and preserved should the case go to trial.
