Male Transgender Adult Is Stabbed, Area PCH/Locust, Allegedly After Dispute Involving Several Women and Men; Two Women Are Arrested

(Mar. 20, 2016, 11:25 p.m.) -- Preliminary information is sketchy, and LBPD's investigation is ongoing, but LBPD says a male transgender adult was stabbed allegedly after a dispute with several female and male adults...and two female suspects have been arrested.

Reiterating: very preliminary information, LBPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Brad Johnson says that on March 20 at about 7:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of PCH/Locust Ave. regarding a stabbing.

On arrival, officers found a male transgender adult suffering from a non-life-threatening injury. LBPD says the victim was allegedly involved in a dispute with several female and male adults before being stabbed. [No details on the circumstances of the dispute at this point.]

LBFD transported the victim to a hospital in stable condition.

LBPD arrested two female suspects who have been booked into LB's city jail.

LBPD's investigation is ongoing; we don't have further details at this point; we'll update this story with further as we learn it.
