He has moderated several candidate forums which include candidate forums for State Senate and State Assembly elections, and many other political forums. Mr. Shurtz is an unbiased 3rd party moderator who has no ties to CARP or The Eastside Voice Neighborhood Organization. He will oversee the forum, and he will be utilizing the League of Women Voters' guidelines regarding sorting and choosing the questions directed at the candidates.
