(May 30, 2002) -- With a possible legal storm gathering over LB Airport that could eventually involve LB City Hall and impact LB residents, LBReport.com has learned that JetBlue Airways, which holds 27 of LB Airport's now filled 41 noise budgeted flight slots, has retained the high powered LB law firm of Keesal, Young and Logan.
Calls to the law firm's downtown LB office were referred to JetBlue's NY HQ.
Responding to our inquiry, JetBlue spokesperson Fiona Morrisson advised by email:
"Given the public statements by American Airlines that they might litigate issues relating to slots at the airport, we thought it prudent to obtain legal counsel to consult with about matters affecting JetBlue."
