LB Airport Group -- Independent of City Hall -- Formed For Homeowners & Taxpayers:

LBAirportWatch.org

(May 12, 2002) -- To provide an independent source of information and a focal point for advocacy and political action, LBReport.com is launching LBAirportWatch.org.

The web site at www.lbairportwatch.org will provide detailed information unfiltered by City Hall concerning LB's City Hall run airport.

The new site, which will continue to be built over the coming days and weeks, will provide information on airport-related impacts previously downplayed by LB's establishment. It will offer links to information on airport related pollution, health effects, safety considerations, homeowner impacts and taxpayer costs. The site already includes an archived news articles on airport-related developments from LBReport.com.

"We are pleased to provide these resources in the public interest," said LBReport.com publisher Bill Pearl. "Our coverage of Airport issues over the past year -- including reports we considered newsworthy when others didn't -- speaks for itself."

Pearl said that in addition to news and reference materials, LBAirportWatch.org expects to include homeowner and taxpayer-based resources useful for advocacy and political action.
