(May 31, 2005) -- We're always thrilled when good things happen to our advertisers...and LB area disc jockey and wedding entertainment planner Bill Lovelace (familiar to our readers from his long-standing ads on LBReport.com) has been profiled in the latest edition of DJ Times Magazine, a glossy, NY-based publication with national and international readers.
The June edition of the trade industry publication ("America's first magazine for professional DJs, published since 1988") features a major article on Bill taking up a full page and extending onto another (small portion to right; click for pdf; reprinted with permission from the DJ Times June 2005 issue, copyright 2005 DJ Publishing Inc.)
Entitled "Laid-Back, Cali DJ Practices Precision," the article authored by Chrissi Mark opens by citing Bill's expertise in handling weddings, noting "meticulous planning reflects the sharpened instincts of a 20-year DJ vet."
The article, part of the magazine's section on Mobile DJs, found newsworthy that Bill brings a 22,000+ song library with him on computer. "[I]f someone comes up and asks for a song, within six seconds [I] have it on," he says in the piece.
Although the article appears in the magazine's print edition, the Mobile DJ section isn't yet on the magazine's website (www.djtimes.com)...so we appreciate DJ Times courtesy in letting our readers see it in pdf form.
