(May 18, 2006 updated May 22 w/ composite sketch) -- LBPD has released a composite sketch (right) of the suspect they say allegedly attacked a 12 year-old girl, a middle school student walking in the 2400 block of Chestnut Ave. near an elementary school on May 15 at about 3:20 p.m.
As first reported by LBReport.com on May 18, the girl was attacked by the suspect who approached her from behind, pushed her to the ground and attempted to unbuckle her pants.
The girl fought back, biting the suspect on his arm...and the suspect left the girl and fled the scene when students began leaving school.
LBPD describes the suspect as a male White with a beard, 25-30 yrs. old, blond hair, blue eyes, 5’5" tall, approx. 160-170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, blue jeans and black shoes. He was clean but smelled of cigarettes.
