(May 15, 2008) -- Initial information is sketchy, but LBReport.com has learned that on Tuesday night May 13, an individual armed with an unidentified weapon approached a group of individuals in the 4600 block of Bellflower Blvd. (between Arbor Rd. and Centralia St.) and allegedly tried to rob them.
Instead however, an LBPD summary indicates that the victims and suspect became involved in a physical altercation in which the suspect was disarmed and beaten by the intended victims.
The suspect, a male juvenile, was later apprehended at a local hospital.
