This year, it's a fun performance of "Little Shop of Horrors" with a reception, refreshments, door prizes and more at the Long Beach Playhouse (5021 E. Anaheim St.) on June 6 starting at 6:30 p.m. for $25 a ticket.

Fundraisers like this enable the all-volunteer [no pricey staff] Friends of Long Beach Animals to pay for spaying/neutering of animals (preventing unwanted animals from being born, only to be euthanized or subjected to cruelty), humane education classes, adoptions and special medical bills for shelter animals.
