Walk-Up Shooting Leaves Man Dead, 3700 block Arbor Rd. in Lakewood

LASD says its Homicide Detectives were continuing their investigation at early evening into the shooting that occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m. (May 30).

[LASD release text] When [Deputies] arrived, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Detectives learned that the victim was standing outside the residence at the location when he was approached by two male Hispanic suspects. At least one of those men shot the victim before they fled a short distance on foot westbound from the location. They then entered an older model white four door car, possibly a Toyota Camry.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
