LBPD Arrests, LB City Prosecutor Charges, LB Massage Therapist With Alleged Inappropriate Touching

(May 30, 2013) -- LBPD has made an arrest and the Long Beach City Prosecutor's office has filed misdemeanor charges alleging that a Long Beach man -- a massage therapist working as an independent contractor -- inappropriately touched a female client during a massage at a Belmont Shore area spa.

In a release today (May 30), LBPD says that on May 19, its officers were dispatched to the Dee Dee Thai Spa at 200 Argonne Avenue regarding a sexual battery investigation.

When officers arrived, they arrested a massage therapist after learning he [had allegedly] inappropriately touched a female adult client during a massage.
The defendant has been identified as 48-year-old Juan Pablo Zea of Long Beach

The Long Beach City Prosecutor's Office has charged him with one count of misdemeanor sexual battery
Defendant Zea was working as an independent contractor for the spa when this [alleged] crime occurred, but may have worked at other locations
He also goes by the name of "Johnny" and is described as a male Hispanic, 5'8" tall, approximately 165 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.
